Purchased this week on ebay a red corset and cream corset.
The item received was a bright cherry red, with white vinyl trim. not the dark burgundy and cream trim as shown in the picture.
Item when arrived while in a cello bag when removed smelt. On close inspection there are sweat marks and deodorant marks at the armpits, and a strong deodarant and body odour coming from the same area.
Seller offered to refund the purchase price only, and wanted the item returned with registered post at my expense which is more than the I would recieve back as a refund based on her offer of $10.30. Seller also sent washing instruction to wash it.
Washing instructions would not be needed if it was new and never worn!

ReplyDeleteAdditionally, the item is red & cream as in the picture.
The buyer states it is used, but I have no proof that it has been used & when it left my care, the item was in clean condition.
I would like it noted the matching g-string was included in the package for free as a gift to the buyer.

ReplyDeleteHi
The item is not used. I would like proof via a picture of the different colour & the stains as I have a picture of the item before it was sent & I can see by the picture it is not marked & it matches the colouring of the picture (red & cream).
Each computer screen resolution is different & it is not my fault or responsibility if the colour appears different on another computer.
I send the same "instructions for cleaning" to all my corset sales. Ebay can easily check the same email has been sent to the other corset sales I have made. As there are no care instructions inside the packaging & corsets do require cleaning after use.
The item value is over $30 (incl g-string) & the buyer paid 1/3 of the cost.
I will not refund the item or any postage as I am of the opinion the buyer is trying to get a refund & keep the item as this claim is false.
Wow what a nasty seller. I have added them to my block list and also listed them on the forums I visit so that others do not get stung as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog keep it up!!
It is disgusting when people get something "DIRT CHEAP" and yet find that there is imperfections that they clearly were not told about. As a buyer and seller on ebay, i have read and looked at both case and response and it seems as if the buyer was both helpful and honest. I on several occasions have brought clothing products that do not look exactly the same as the picture. This is because the resolution and colour changes from photo to computer and again is dependant on screen resolution. Unforunately this is not the case as the design is also a little different from the sellers original picture. Stand your ground buyer. It is ridiculous.
